Finished reel

Same clip. Tap between raw and finished.

See it happen

Do not take my word for it. Watch a clip become a reel.

This is one raw phone clip, the kind sitting in your camera roll right now. And here it is finished. Same clip. The cut, the captions, the little zooms, the sounds, the cover. I did not open a single menu. I told it what I wanted, in plain words, and it built it.

Watch the full demo

Watch me edit a whole reel, start to finish.

The entire edit. Nothing cut out.

The math

It pays for itself the first time you use it.

A freelance editor charges $75 to $200 a reel. You pay for this once.

Film it. Drop it in.

Shoot it on your phone. Say "edit this reel" out loud.

Pick what stays.

It cuts the silence. You keep or kill each line it found.

Approve the look.

The hook, captions, zooms and sounds. You give one yes.

Post it.

A finished reel, or a CapCut draft that is still yours.

Built for you

Sick of editing taking forever? This is for you.

sound familiar?
  • One reel somehow takes more time to edit than you have.

  • It was never the skill you were short on. It is the hours.

  • You would hire an editor, but that is not in the budget.

Requirements

What you need to run it

You edit on your computer, not your phone. Mac or Windows, both run natively.

  • On a Mac: macOS 13 (Ventura) or newer

Most Macs from 2017 on can update to it for free. Not sure which you have? Click the apple in the top corner, then About This Mac.

  • On a PC: Windows 10 or Windows 11

Windows 10 needs the October 2018 update or later, which almost every PC has taken by now. It won't run on laptops with a Snapdragon (Arm) chip. Not sure? Press the Windows key, type About, and open About your PC.

  • A paid Claude plan

About $20 a month, paid to Anthropic, not me.

  • The CapCut app

Free to download. On a PC, get it from capcut.com, not the Microsoft Store.

About 10 GB of free space. For the editing tools it installs the first time, plus room for your footage.

On an Intel Mac?

It runs. Slower, with a few extras off.

A reel takes much longer to finish, and a render can look stuck for a few minutes. Let it keep going. Three extras don't work on Intel: trimming quick restarts, exact voiceover timing, and making background music, so bring your own track. Macs with an Apple chip (M1 or newer) and Windows PCs get every format and feature.

About This Mac shows which you have: “Chip: Apple” or “Processor: Intel.”

¿Hablas español?

The whole course, en español.

Every lesson has an English and Español switch at the top, so you can learn in the language you think in. The lesson videos carry Spanish subtitles. And when you film in Spanish, it edits in Spanish: your captions, your hook, every word on screen.

“I already have my first reel out for tonight... it is really good. Also it's working in spanish very good with no errors for now. I am super happy!!”

No menus. No settings.

You just tell it what you want.

In plain words, the way you would text a friend. The kind of thing you say:

Every format you make

However you like to show up, it edits that.

It does its best work on talking-head reels, you on camera, talking. That is what I built it on. The other formats are newer, and every update makes them better.

On camera

The Yap

You, on camera, saying the thing only you can say. One take, cut tight and dressed to fit the moment. It is the format behind most of my reels that have gone viral.

A whole batch at once

B-roll, by the batch.

Drop in a folder of clips you filmed. It hooks and styles every one, then hands them back as a numbered posting queue with captions ready to paste.

You set the finish

Hands off, or hands on. Your call.

Hands off, finishedEditable in CapCut
Finished video, no CapCut

A ready-to-post video.

It does the whole thing and hands you the final file. You never open CapCut, or any editor. You just post.

Editable CapCut draft

A draft, every layer yours.

Every clip and sound on its own layer, with your hook and captions on top, ready to move or hide. Pick plain captions and you can retype them too. Most AI editors give you a locked video. This does the opposite.

The CapCut perk

Like to add your own touch? Open it in CapCut.

Most AI editors hand you a locked video. This hands you the whole project: every clip and sound on its own layer, with your hook and captions on top, ready to move or hide.

Not your thing? Take the finished video instead. CapCut only matters if you want to tweak.

The little extras

Oh, and it also does all of this.

It does the work

Effortless.

You hand it raw footage and step away. The cutting, timing, and cleanup happen without you.

Cuts the dead air

The ums, false starts, and silence, gone. Your warmest take stays.

Reads the moment

It matches the treatment to the clip, so you never pick settings.

Say “fix it”

If CapCut ever hiccups on a draft, you just say fix it, and it does.

It remembers you

It learns your style, so every reel needs fewer tweaks than the last.

It looks designed

Beautiful.

Captions, sound, and covers that read like you paid a designer, not picked a preset.

Captions, three ways

Single word, karaoke, or a full-screen takeover.

Hooks and callouts

Hooks up top, thought bubbles, and numbers that count up.

Sound and music

Effects on the beats, plus background music it makes on your computer.*

*The music it makes is for non-commercial use. For a business reel, bring a track you have the rights to. Intel Macs can't make music, so bring your own there too.

Your cover, picked

It pulls your best frame for the thumbnail, or you set it at post time.

You stay in control

Yours.

Your look, your art, your final say. It bends to your taste, never the other way around.

Three looks, or your own

Editorial, Playful, and Butter, or build your own pack.

Matches a reel you love

Paste one in and it studies the style so yours can match.

Bring your own art

Drop in your own graphics and photos.

Never touches your original

Your source file stays exactly as you shot it.

The first testers

In their own words.

Real messages from the moms who tested it first, on Mac and on PC. Their names are off because they wrote to me, not to a sales page.

I had been waiting for this for SO LONG and it has surpassed my expectations.
Beta tester · Mac
Editing a video that was embarrassingly long (17 excruciating minutes!) and the rough cut got me to 5 minutes with shocking accuracy... I'm so smitten with this already!
Beta tester · PC
I honestly think the graphics alone and the full screen text overlay alone is well worth the money.
Beta tester · PC
It's been great for me and I haven't even done much customization yet!

Literally obsessed with the reels editing engine and I'm only on video one. You're killing it. This is going to be huge. Just WOW

Meg at her setup
Why trust me

I built it for myself first.

Hi, I'm Meg. I left a ten year marketing career after I held my son for twelve weeks and everything shifted. I built my whole account from home in nap windows, millions of organic views, no ads. I could not hand off my editing, so I built the thing that does it. This is the real editor I use, not a demo.

I'm not a tech wiz. I'm a mom sharing what I've built, and it's only going to get better.

The reels were never the point. Being here was. It hands you the hours back, so you get to stay in the room where the little moments happen.

Still deciding?

Here's the honest answer.

You do not need to be. Setup is the most technical part, and the lessons walk you through it step by step, on a Mac or a PC. After that, you edit by telling it what you want in plain words, the way you would text a friend. I built it for a tired mom in a nap window, not for an engineer.

Yes. It works from your own footage, in your look, so it already sounds like you. From there you choose the finish: take a ready-to-post reel as is, or take the editable draft and add your final touches. The taste and the calls are always yours.

Good, this is the part before CapCut. It does the cutting and the building, then hands you an editable CapCut draft, still yours to tweak. Or a finished video if you would rather not open CapCut.

No. CapCut is free, and so is the Butter look. The Editorial and Playful looks use fonts that come with CapCut Pro, so those two need it.

There is no reel counter here. Claude runs on usage, so your number depends on how you work rather than on a cap I could promise you.

The $20 a month plan is a good place to start. A short reel with a simple cut is light. A longer one, or one you rework a few times to get it exactly right, uses more. So a month of quick reels and a month of fully produced ones look very different on the same plan.

If you ever bump the limit, that just means you are making a lot. You can move up a plan whenever you want, and you can move back down.

Hiring an editor to cut one reel costs more than this. One reel. Next week there is another clip and another invoice.

This is the whole editing suite instead. You make your money back the first time you use it.

And you will not hit the end of it. There is more in there than you will touch in your first month, and new features keep arriving.

Yes, if it's a Mac on macOS 13 or newer, or a Windows 10 or 11 PC, with about 10 GB free. Apple chip Macs and PCs get everything. Intel Macs run it slower, without three extras: trimming quick restarts, exact voiceover timing, and making music. It won't run on an iPad, a Chromebook, or an Arm-based Windows laptop.

It runs, or you do not pay. If you cannot get it running on your machine, email me inside 7 days and let me try to fix it with you. If we cannot get it to run, I refund you in full.

It is a digital product that lands on your computer the second you buy it, so I do not refund it for a change of heart. I would rather say that out loud than bury it in a terms page.

Set it up once
